What gun are you most proud to own?

I really love my French gun! They are not easy to find either

Luger that my grandfather took off of an SS solder that he shot in France. I did some research on it way back noting that it isn't a standard Luger, and it turned out to be a tanker model. Asked my grandfather about the stock, and he said that it was a pain to carry so he chucked it into the woods.
thats pretty awesome!

…my Elmer Keith M1 Garand.
It must have been an Ogden Arsenal rebuild, then....

I had a very early Winchester M1 Carbine with I-hole, high wood stock that went through Ogden and had the OGEK stamp. He must have thought it was an exceptional example that survived the wear and tear because very little seemed to have been done to it as far as stock changeouts, sights, etc.

My grandpa bought a marlin 30-30 the year I was born and kept it in the box, unfired until I graduated high school and gave that to me as a gift. That’s pretty special to me.

I bought my son a Les Baer 1911 for his 2nd Christmas. Hopefully he will appreciate that one day. Until then, I’ve been shooting the snot out of it.

Winchester 67A single shot bolt action .22 lr, long & shorts, and a single shot Stevens 94C 16 ga shotgun. Both together probably aren’t worth $150-$200 but they were my Granddad’s and that makes them priceless to me. Both so old they don’t even have serial#’s but I still shoot them every now and then. I’ve owned a lot of expensive guns through the years but these two are the only ones I have left and I’m keeping them.

My uncle's Ruger Blackhawk he carried while flying recon missions during the Vietnam conflict.

I've already told my boys when I pass they'll have to figure out how to divvy 'em up. When they were young it was rock/paper/scissors best 2 of 3.
Love the Ruger and the history it has.
