For me it is a Colt Single action Army. Over the years when I have had the cash that one commands, there was not one to be found. When I see them posted for sale or trade, usually I don't have what they are looking for. And when the good prices are there I seem to be tapped out of cash.
The closet I came to closing a deal was on here and the fella had it listed for sale or trade. I did not have the cash but did however have a trade item he wanted. We talked and he said he would take my trade if he did not get any cash offers but he was holding out for cash. As it goes he got his cash.
The sad/funny part was the next day my wifes uncle called and told me what he bought. It was the Colt I was trying to get. He said he would not have offered cash had he known I was trying to get it. But for the most part he always waned one also. So it remains in his possession and not for sale or trade.
Whats the one gun it seems you just cannot get your hands on for one reason or another?
