Mine are gone also. Click the 3 dots to pull down menu and the option is there but doesnt allow you to click on it. On my phone at least

My new andriod phone did the same thing but only with Firefox. I deleted and reinstalled Firefox and the smiles came back temporarily. Changing to the DuckDuckGo web browser solved all the issues.
