What have you reloaded today?

45 Auto
Barnes Tac-XP 185gr
5.0gr W231
Remington LPP
S&B brass
1.255" OAL

Barnes shorted me 1 bullet, so this whipped up as a batch of 39. Kick in the pants for bullets that run ~$1/each.

Box lists these as .451", but after noticing a SUPER loose fit in the cases I proceeded to measure the diameter of each bullet. They all came in between .449" and .450". I did a fairly snug taper crimp on them but nothing too wild.

Very curious to see how they run in my TRP. I know my HK45 and New Vaquero will eat them without issue. Hoping the same holds true for the TRP.

45 Auto
Hornady 230gr FMJ-RN
5.5gr W231
Remington LPP / CCI SPP
Mixed brass
1.250" OAL
262 rounds total

All charges individually weighed, none thrown. My old Lyman measure is inconsistent at best, dangerous at worst. I need to invest in a nice mechanical measure or a fancy automatic unit. Until then, the 'ol beam scale and a scoop and trickler will get it done.

I love that S&B still uses large primer pockets, but man those jokers are snug. I found a bunch of loose pockets on Federal brass. Not sure if that's normal as I generally use Blazer, PMC, or S&B.

Doing these 262 with a single stage turret press and hand-weighed charges made me really miss the old progressive setup that I had access to.

Finished Reloading another 500 rounds of 9mm start months ago depriming and priming cases by hand as that strp gives my progressive press hell!!

115 grain light Green
124 grain dark green
124 grain hollow points
All over 4.5gn of Unique.
Some are cci spp and some are 70's cci srp
All are range loads so a malfunction is just training.

Yes I know SRP are Harder and hotter ingition than SPP why my loads arent close to max. Most of these will go through the 986 or ar9 where I get a harder primer strike than a regular striker fired gun.

Have a friend having trouble with factory 35 Remington 200 grain round nose and light primer strikes
or misfires. Pulled bullets, weighed 3 loads, saved powder. Was amazed one factory load was 4 one hundreths
more than other two as far as powder. Anyway, knocked out primers and put Federal primers back in place
of Remington and reloaded. Hopefully the Federal's will go bang, if not will look at gun and firing pin.

Lever action Rifle or a contender. Hate to say it but i dont think the light strikes are caused by the ammo.

Try primers in empty brass to figure the culprit out
