What is a good deal?

At risk of having my delicate feelings hurt I have a simple 2 part question. There are a lot of really high prices on ODT, that is a given. Let’s limit this question to firearms. Let’s assume the item is in excellent condition. What constitutes a good deal or price for seller and buyer and how can a good deal or price be determined given available internet price checking resources?

It's really that simple. Most of the people who feel they "need" to tell someone what they should be pricing their own stuff for prob wouldnt be buying it regardless of the cost.
