I don’t find the recoil that much different from 45. The higher capacity and cheaper ammo makes for a more enjoyable plinking session though.

Always happens. The OP will ask for suggestions for only a 357 magnum revolver and nothing else and 5 or 6 people will reply and tell him he does not know what he needs and to buy a 9mm semi auto that they then suggest. Thanks.

More wallet sensitive. I don’t mind spending a chunk on a gun as it’s a one time purchase for that gun, but to feed it constantly cost twice as much as 9mm.

I think rock island makes a 2011 right around 1k. Maybe try to find one of those.
