What is the reason for the shortage of reloading supplies? Primers, brass, bullets, and powder?

Course I didn't know then that if I purchased a 300wm premium ammunition would be 100 per 20 rounds.

jesus christ. I got 225 gr elds from midway blem sail for my 300BO. they have a factory 2nd sale every quarter it seems. if you load your own, id look at blems right now. I have gotten 1/4-1/2 MOA loads in .308win outta my AO bolt gun with nosler 175gr 2nds.

I have not tested the 225's in my 300bo yet...

maybe tomorrow.

I got lucky today though I ordered 200 norma whitetail rounds from sportsmans guide with my Star card. Now I have some brass to fireform and loaded ammo to hunt with and I can stave off buying 400 dollar primers until hopefully this crapola blows over.

grab up the wolf magnum russian primers if you can find them. they are usually cheaper, and I have had very good accuracy with them in 308.

That price is insane! I saw some Hornady ELD-X rounds at Academy a couple of months ago for $99 per 20, and I thought that was high. I'm pretty pleased with $1.07 per round cost to load for mine!

for me 60c 200-225gr subs for 300bo. still seems like a crazy #.
