Oh yeah BTW the FAL has to be THE best 308 semi auto rifle in the world ever hands down. If you can afford to round up the parts for yet another build you will not be disappointed.

Not an FAL expert by a long shot. Mine was a Century import in the 90s when they were under 5 bills. But I remember there were Australian FAL / L1A1 models as well as Brazilian models I think we're made by Imbel and I believe some Isreali built rifles . That may be what you have in the pic. There's also inch pattern and metric pattern rifles/kits.You know me too wellwhere are the selector markings from? Anyone know what origin?
I love these guns and DSArms makes damn nice but expensive ones now. They have a very nice paratrooper model which probably throws fireballs. Anyway the parts kits used to be plentiful but I haven't looked lately.

I believe it is from an Israeli FN FAL heavy barrel select fire rifle.
That's how I was leaning on it as well. BTW when I grow up I'm gonna be Jewish and have a Bar Mitzvah where everyone gives me money and savings bonds. Oh and I'm gonna own lots of real estate. Shalom...
