What is your take on the Corona virus, not the beer.

My wife asked me to pick up some" prepper" stuff ( not ammo ) to be ready for the possible pandemic .. she is buried in the " real news" warning us we are on the cusp of spanish flu of 1918.... i want her to be happy but buying cans of spam, rice, and canned veggies is getting a little draining with the constant theory around here...
Anyone else facing this?
If so, what are you buying????

Canned chili, tamales, whichever brand of canned soup is on bogo at Publix.
Get the weekly sale papers and buy whatever you regularly eat when it goes on sale.

Food wise, I have a plastic bin of expired canned foods out in the garage. So as recommended by lostchild , buy what you eat. Then just rotate it through your normal pantry, just with extra quantities for however long you think you’ll need.

When it hits Africa and India we will know how powerful it is. This is not going away by the Summer. May be around for a couple of years or may even never leave.

I bought MRE's from the Gun shows. $50 each box. Patriot, Wise and other Bucket food. I even have instant coffee which, I just found out lasts 2-20 years.
