What pistol do you shoot the best?

Had a conversation earlier about what handgun I shoot the best and the fellow was surprised when I said my Beretta 92A1 or a Sig 226, as I 95% of the time am shooting my Glocks.


So regardless of what carries best, or has the best reliability, or whatever.

Simply put what handgun do you shoot the best? (Center fire)

For me it is my Beretta92A1, I almost never miss with it even at longer ranges. I shoot good with my Glocks, and 1911's and revolvers. But for one shot hit in my hands the 92 is where it's at.

So regardless of what you shoot the most or carry. If you had to pick one handgun to shoot a Coke can at 40 yards in one shot, what would it be?

I've always shot better with the M&P line of firearms. Specifically a compact 40 s&w.

Even at range with those sights? I guess it makes sense, my number two gun is the little fixed sight walther PPK, even out at 40+ yards I can nail whatever I'm aiming at.

I have found that the ability to shoot a well made handgun, any well made handgun, reliably accurate has little to do with the hardware. As always, YMMV.

Ok let me rephrase that, center fire handguns. Yeah I bring out my fathers old mark 2 it makes it look like I can't shoot any other gun worth a dam in comparison

I concur, but everybody is different in size, shape, eyesight and everything else there fore everyone typically has one or two guns they shoot better than the others. Yes in a ransom rest they may all shoot the same but I'm talking real life off hand shooting.
