Just bought a Chicom Type 53, and the wood is in amazing shape compared to most. Very few dings, but the outermost layer looks rough. Definitely a diamond in the rough. I'm normally not a fan of refinishing milsurp, but I think this could look great if done right. Redo or leave it alone??
