Reminds me a story my dad used to tell from Nam. He was a crew chief on a Huey...when he had a pilot he didn’t like, he leave a extra part on the pilots seat. During pre-flight the pilot would ask “Hey what’s this”. Dad would then say what the part was and say “I’m pretty sure I replaced it with a new part... let’s get up in the air and we’ll figure it out.... one way or the other”.
