I wouldnt call the police. If you are able to handle it at your level you should. God forbid you get a trigger happy rooky on duty and shoots the kid, justified or not I couldn't live with knowing a simple chat could have ended the issue of boys will be boys.

No joke, some of those air rifles will take down deer. I know my 22 pellet rifle will go through a 1/2" plywood like a hot knife through butter.

Indeed. I've got a break-barrel in .177 that boasts 1300fps. Wouldn't want to take one of those to the head or chest.
