What would you do if some kids pointed an AR15 pellet gun at your wife??

I wouldn't let it go for to long if your going to say something to the parents. IMO if u wait a few days and then go over there, the parents will probably think it wasn't important enough to confront them when it first happened so it ain't no big deal. I had 2 separate incidents with 2 different neighbors kids with BB guns. I know both ets of parents pretty old and knew about why the consequences would be so I just gave the kids a very stern talking to and told hem if it happened gain that there parents would be called. Haven't had anymore problems.

A report needs to be done asap. Trust me on this! Do NOT let it go. Reporting it could save someone's life

If you think the neighbor is a reasonable guy AND you won't lose your temper then go talk to him soon.

If you think there's any chance you might lose your cool, report it to the police and let them handle it.

I would have a chat with the father (assuming there is one) and calmly stress the risk of pointing ANY weapon at another person. Letting it slide will not help those boys.
They need to understand just how dangerous a stunt like that can be. What if your wife pulled a carry weapon and shot them?

this. I did stupid stuff and people followed us home and had talks with our folks.

I still feel like I want to choke out the father! I'm going to enjoy the day with my wife, if I see them out with it today I will call the police... If not I'm just going to get their address and just go make a police report.

I'm not looking to get these kids in trouble with the police, we all did stupid crap as kids but... someone needs to talk to them about it!

Then man up and do it.

Just served on the grand jury and found you can be charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon whether the weapon is or is not real. If the victim perceives there life in danger, charges can be filed. Better contact the parents and stop it now. The last thing a parent wants to see is their kid dead because they pulled on the wrong person.
