What would you guys think of a 10.5 inch 458 socom upper?

14.7" here with a pinned and welded brake from tromix. I love the round. It's my brush gun for white tails.

Like 2ANFH said, use Lancer L5 mags. I had to modify mine slightly so the rounds would feed out of the mag. See pic.

Here is one of my wife shooting the 458 with 300 gr Lehigh bullet loaded at 1700 FPS. A pretty hot load.

I have a 458 in a 16" bbl. The recoil and sound aren't anything special. My wife has shot it several times with hot loaded 300 grain bullets and 500 grain subs. Kicks less than a 12 ga auto loader. I reload for mine, so it gets the cost down a little.
