I have been a 30:06 guy nearly 45 years with just an occasional temporary switch up but I recently got a ruger ranch in 450 BM and love this rifle. Topped it off with a 3x9x50 Burris that I had and it has great swinging and target acquisition quality Look forward to carrying this. Only about 37”

Depending on which stand and weather;

Tikka t3 stainless, .270 for drizzly days or longer shots

For box blinds my Ruger Scout Rifle in .308

Or my Browning Abolt micro medallion in .257 Bob if my wife doesn't claim it again this year

Also would like to take one with my Sig 220 in 10 mm if the opportunity presents itself

I also have a 357 lever action that I hope to get to try. Most (over 90%) of my shots are under 50 yards with 35 yds being about average. Should be more enough gun with a hp round.
