What year/base did you go through bootcamp?

Regardless of branch of service, what year did you go through basic and at which base?

Me: US Army, Fort Dix, NJ Winter 1989/1990

Cold as a witch's knee in a brass knee brace. I think it snowed 2-3 times per week.

US Army, Fort Benning, GA, September-December 2000.

I got the heat of the Summer AND the freezing cold of Winter. Then I went to Ft. Gordon and did that song and dance until the next August. Then I guess the Army decided they would give me a break from Georgia, and sent me to Hawaii.
