I actually saw a thread in another forum once where a guy did this same thing to a Buckmark. He said accuracy was still pretty good with it.

My Buckmark is factory threaded; but with the 5" barrel it will let bulk ammo go transonic/supersonic. Nice suppressor setup if you are going to have to get one threaded anyway.

I think they made a 4" threaded bull barrel version a few years back.

I secretly want to buy one of these and chop the barrel at the front of the trigger guard, thread it, and then mill the top rail to mate up with my Sparrow 22.

Had one, I don't recommend it. Jammed more often than a sig mosquito. Browning and Rugers are both quality, haven't tried the S&W.
