I have some silver coins that i inherited that live in my sock drawer and have toyed with the idea of selling but am unsure of what a good selling price would be. I'm not expecting to get rich off of such a meager collection but I would like to be fair in my value estimation and have no idea how to grade or what to expect

. I've never dabbled in silver and am hoping to take the lazy way out by getting some advice from the ODT and all you smarter people than me who know the value of such things. I truly appreciate all input, thank you and God bless.

MOst will be worth the melt value if you try to sell outright if that

The peace and Morgan dollars generally hold high premiums in 2ndary markets but they need to be graded (costs about 35 bucks per coin for grading and slabbing)

If you want to sell ill give you a fair price or trade; but first id find what years/mints the silver dollars are to see if any are low mintage and may be worth slabbing

Pm me with any specific questions

There is a Coin store in Lawrenceville, the gentleman will tell you exactly how much each coin is worth. he has been doing this for 55 years. If you have any Morgan's Silver Dollars with (cc) on the back DO NOT SELL THEM. The (cc) stands for Carlson City. The most wanted of the Morgan dollars, only uncirculated Morgan's are worth more.
