I've lost the link but there are a couple of foreign shops that have 'em. IIRC one was a Polish distributor but I've lost the link to their shop. You might have to use a translator website but many of the foreign sites will do business with Americans.

But, of course, there's the legal issue of importing gun parts valued at over $100, so you'd be limited on how many you could order at a time.

With the prices coming down on surplus 74 mags might be worth the few extra dollars to buy them. Not sure what the retail is gonna be on the Magpuls though. I picked up some true Black Russian 74 mags for $28 recently and have seen some other surplus mags for sale lower than they've been in awhile.

A gen three magpul ak mag is 26 bucks at academy I'd just spring the extra money for the real deal unless magpul is your thing.

Surplus steel 47 mags going for $9-$12 at some places it's hard for me to spend $26 on the Magpul. Bakelites can be found for under $25 for a grade 2 if you know where to look...

I love me some Magpul. I really don't like steel mags either. Dropped 7.62 from the arsenal and went 5.45.
