Yeah there is no point in SBR'ing anything anymore. Maybe one day they will just do away with the NFA altogether.

Yup I hope so too, ever since the brace thing came out almost 80 percent of my rifle caliber purchase have been short barrel. Also I started to buy sub guns cause they don’t look stupid anymore and quite useful with a brace.

That's a shoulder stock designed to be fired from the shoulder. All NFA rules would apply.

Edited my first post. New regs clarified shouldering as legal. Which further makes it stupid that SBR are on the NFA

Because they do t want to have to fill out a form to carry it out of state.

Edit: Also, they can be shouldered. There’s a white form memo more current than your link. As someone with multiple SBR... I’ve also got a “pistol” AR for road trips.

all I see on the atf site is Document 11816 saying its NOT legal
