Okay if Zombie is the code word for Democrat or crackhead then I'm in. But from what I've seen lately it's just an excuse to have a gun or vehicle painted in some stupid ass color. Let me just say that you can paint your guns,cars, homes,in any color you want. But if you're gonna be gay then come on out and be flaming gay.

How is doing a gun in a zombie theme any different from all the other paint jobs on guns?

Besides, if anyone wants to come out as a flaming gay they would just go buy a festiva.

The Zombie Apocalypse is a metaphor. The earth is already populated by shuffling self-unaware zombies. Some of them are dangerous, others are merely parasites. Walking amongst the brain-dead are we... we gun owners, we rugged individualists, we who can shoot and hunt and fish and live off the land, we who are prepared for the day when the "zombies" rise up. We who are prepared for when the trucks stop running, the planes stop flying, and the water stops flowing and every other human is a potential foe. Seems plain as day to me.

"Zombie" is just a term used in place of all the possible threats in a SHTF situation. It's a lot more acceptable than listing all of those that could become a legitimate target and lightens up the entire subject a little. Sure there are those that just want a bright green gun for the hell of it, but the term was originated as a nick name for legitimate bad guys. Just like the VC were called "Charlie". It also makes the whole prepper thing more easily digested by the general public. It's better for them to look at it and say "That's silly" than to say "Holy crap, they are preparing to kill lots of other people if it becomes necessary".

I seriously doubt that a person that has stockpiled 5000 plus "Zombie Max" rounds thinks they will ever be fired at a real zombie.

You are wrong about that. I worked in Kentucky last year and had a 52 year old Female co-worker who was preparing for the Zombies. She had bought the special zombie edition firearm and thousands of rounds for it. She expects a zombie war soon. I'm not judging, but that through me for a loop.

You can make fun of Festivas all you want. They have made me some good money in recent years. And I personally don't see what's gay about driving a cheap simple car that is still around. It was 1992 when the last one rolled off the cargo ship and the majority of them are still on the road. So comparatively speaking, is the Volvo 240 gay? How bout the Tercel? Is it gay?
If I wanted a universally recognized gay car I'd buy a Mini.
