What's the deal with the stupid zombie ****?

I don't make up the rules on gay cars/ hetero cars. Some cars are just universally recognized as gay cars. There's nothing wrong with driving a Rav4. I liked the early ones a lot better. But the later models just kinda blend in with everything else. Same for the Ford Escape. They restyled it a year or two ago and now it just blends in with the rest.

But I'm not the one that made it more likely for you to see rainbow stickers and coexist stickers on Minis.Scion XBs and Subaru Outbacks/Foresters. That's the world we live in. I'm just the one that obviously opened myself up for ridicule for pointing it out. Same goes for my opinion on the zombie trend. Grown people, adults are now buying hideous colored firearms and adding ridiculous looking accessories to their fierarms and automobiles to"be prepared" for something that doesn't exist.
It's almost as tacky as the " In Memory of..." stickers on people's cars. And I assume I will catch hell about that too. But tacky is tacky. And grown folks with zombie prep kits is ****ing stupid.
So there. Commence with the beat down.
On the sticker deal. I had a co-worker put a rainbow sticker on our boss's car. Not really a problem except he was a Boy Scout Troup leader and some of the other parents found it objectionable. His reaction was truely the funny part, everyone had to pay for that joke.

I'd be willing to bet most people with zombie stuff don't really believe in a zombie apocalypse. However, their concern of social unrest such as what is seen in Europe and the Middle East happening here? Probably.

As for tacky stickers, I guess tacky is in the eye of the beholder. I'm sure my NRA and 5.56 decals are pretty lame to someone.

It's the pasture, people- relax.

To the OP's defense, I thought the whole zombie trend was stupid two years ago (as far as accessories and dressing up guns), but I'm not going to hate on those that want to have fun with it. It's their stuff. If they want to paint it zombie green, so be it. You could always repaint it. As for these custom stippling and grip reduction jobs I see on here, oh dear sweet mother of baby black Jesus- there is no salvation for that crap.

In 07 I worked at a VW/Audi shop in Macon. The owner was working on an early 70s VW Thing for a customer. Had a Hobby/ Antique tag on it at the time. Back then all the hobby tags started with the letter H and the number 8. Well this particular tag was H8 JWZ. So my boss thought this was really funny especially being on a VW Thing. The Things were 4 door soft tops that looked just like the rigs that Nazis rode in during WW2. So he took some electrical tape and made swastikas on both front doors.
I thought it was funny as hell. But the short version of this was the poor guy that owned it wound up having to run two different TV news crews out of his yard later that week. And he had no idea why they were asking him "Do you really hate Jews? Why do you hate them?"
