What's the highest round count on a weapon you currently own?

Does anyone here actually document the rounds they fire ? I keep a log for the guns I plan to keep. Kinda puts things in perspective and helps keep track of when it's time to change parts

I keep track to a point. Helps me not blow through as much ammo at the range.

Certain guns, yes. Others, no.

My Mossberg 500 A 12 gauge has thousands of rounds through it. Between dove, small game, deer, hogs, turkey, ducks and skeet it has been rode hard and put up wet. We would let the parents and their kids at deer camp burn up our leftover dove loads on the last weekend of deer season. My shotgun was one of the ones used most often. It has been around since the 1980's.

No way. I can guesstimate, but unless I buy all my ammo in bulk 1K round cases its easy to loose exact count buying random amounts.

I was talking about with the gun. After I fire them I write which firearm I used , the date and how many rounds i fired

I do, I'm a dork like that. I keep track of when I shoot, the guns I fired, and how many rounds.

My AR has an unknown round count I'm probably the 3 or 4th owner but it runs and shoots 1MOA at 100 yards. My wife's SR22 has about 1k through it.

I personally don't care about keeping up with the round count thing, I shoot till I notice a problem, then repair as needed. Good cleaning skills goes a long way in the life of firearms.
