What's the legal age for long fun sale

Have my shotgun listed and I got an inquiry about purchasing it. It looks as though the potential buyer recently graduated high school. If he is 18 or 19 can I legally sell him my shotgun? I know he can walk into Walmart and buy a shotgun so does a private party sale still have the same 18 or older requirement? Thanks
