What's the next cartridge to be resurrected?

I learned to shoot with .40, and took my TX permit class with a S&W SD 40…😬. Then during the plandemic, I switched back to carrying 40 as it was all I could usually find at Academy to avoid touching my 9mm stash. I’ve sold a couple 9mm here, however keeping my .40.
I still keep a 40 because I have seen it where it's available and 9mm isn't. Made a lot of sense to me when I had both a G19 and a G23.

I'd like the national firearms act to be amended to exempt from all the restrictions and taxation requirements any firearm that is chambered only to shoot
.17 Mach 2. (.17 rimfire, but non-magnum.)

THAT would spur a revitalization of that cartridge for sure.

My favorite squirrel rifle is in 17 Mach 2!

I've had this feeling the 31.5" round was on the verge of making a comeback ( and maybe the new administration will get the alphabet-agencies off our backs, then Palmetto State might produce an affordable budget model !!)

I am enjoying some of the new cartridges on the market, 6.8 Western has proven to be a fantastic round even though it doesn't get a lot of support. Waiting for reports on the new 7mm Backcountry before investing in it.
As far as resurrections go I think the .41 Magnum, for handguns, should be brought back to popular. Also, for rifle I think the .300 RUM is on the comeback for long range accuracy. I see the Ruger .204 gaining in popularity, one of my personal favorites in varmint control.
