That's what I thought I don't know why. My single six was 400 bucks but the wrangler is under 200 I'm thinking of getting one but I'm unsure how preordering guns work and if the 189 is a down payment or what. It just said preorder yours today for 189

For whatever reason Ruger seems slow in getting the Wrangler to the stores.
YouToobers able to get them months ago to build up the hype.
I gave up went ahead and bought a Heritage Ruff Ryder.
Only wanted a 22LR but Heritage will accept 22wmr cylinder if desired.
Ruger says wrangler 22LR only and never will be anything else.
Plus if you upgrade Wrangler plastic grips add another $50-75.
Fit & finish presumably better on Ruger but RR functions well and
no worries about holster rub or trying not to scratch it. A friendly
user that's what it is. Don't forget grandpa's quote from the past:
"A single action army in the hand is worth two in the bush"
