What's the process of getting a stamp to SBR a rifle you already have?

I already have a trust, but who do I pay the $200 to? Does the person cutting down the barrel have to keep the rifle while I'm waiting for the stamp or do I keep it and then have them cut it down after the stamp comes in?

Anything else I should know?

Fill out a Eform 1 on the nfa website. They take cards as payment.

Or you can file a paper form 1.and mail it and a check to the NFA branch in WV

I always make the modification after the form1 is completed.

What righter said. Fill out your form 1, engrave the rifle and when the stamp comes back you can cut the barrel.
