Took a $300 m&p 15-22. Had the barrel cut to 4.5 inches.$99. Tax stamp$200. 5in handgaurd, thread adapter so I can put my cheapo 30cal can on it (it just looks cooler, and very quiet) and to top it off a binary trigger$396. But man is it fun to shoot!!!!!!!!!

Don't feel too bad. My brother cut down my granddad's 1100 (not a citori but still).....yep you probably guessed it. 14". Had to toss the barrel.

I bought a AR-10 that had a cheap handguard on it and it had a gap between the upper rail and the hanguard so I thought if I tightened the lock ring it would close the gap, well it did but it also gouged the pivot pin slots on my lower.
