Whats the worst physical pain you've ever felt?

THANKS OP - I am about to go to bed and I bet I am going to dream about all of this horror...

Remembered another one... 8 years old and slammed the LOCKED door of my Dad's LTD on all four fingers of my left hand. No broken bones, but bled like a stuck pig. Never saw my Dad move that fast before or after...

Two words: road rash. Bones, muscles, organs. Nothing in or on the body has more nerves than skin. I'm still wanting that illegal immigrant to find his holy mother in hell. Forgive, but I hope he finds his way to the mall and self-emolates.

Had my jaw shattered and split in half after being hit in the face by a header board that was holding the garage door springs, under load.
Then having a 5/8" hose shoved up my nose and down my throat fully awake before surgery , so they could work in my mouth.
My jaw is now sporting a wire hinge and a titanium plate holding the two halfs together.
Good times.

First time I experienced pain that caused me to scream uncontrollably I was 14. Bad Tolz Germany. Dad was Commandant of the NCO Academy and he brings skis home one day to teach his boy (me!) how to work the slopes. Local sledding hill has the nickname "brown bagger" because nothing more then a brown grocery bag under your butt was needed to slide down this landmark.

His instructions are simple, "Show me what you can do and then watch me". It was where the slope began to return to a more level position that I realized I was falling and my natural defense was to to twist so I would land on my back side. I heard the "pop" and the initial pain was the "oh damn, this is bad" variety. Dad comes down and asks, "are you alright?" I respond as I try to sit up, "I don't think so...my leg". He removes the skis (mine and his) and tells me he'll right back.

I'm at the bottom of this hill which ends in a pasture and the nearest access road is at the top which about 3 football fields above me. A Flexible Flyer sled was what I was placed on and 4 people were working to drag me to the top. They lost me twice and I rolled -- feeling my bone shear as I rolled was horrific. They slipped and caught me twice -- that jerking stop was more of the same. The break was a "spiral fracture", running up the tibia 4 inches from one side to the other before severing the bone in two. It was less then pleasant.

Had some real pain since but that was where we met.

Kidney stones, first ones when I was 12. All of the stones I've had were worse than breaking my back and my leg at the same time.
Next worse was having all for wisdom teeth cut out at the same time. Two of them were fussed to the bone and had to be broken off.:(

probably when I broke my foot, I think the surgery hurt more.

or maybe when I broke my back and leg but they put me on more drugs than cheech and chong that time, so I dont really remember.

4)The first time I got hit by a truck when I was on a bicycle...

3)I was riding shotgun in a truck that flipped 7 times going 80 mph

2)Sliding down the road for 40 plus feet in shorts and tshirt. Motorcycle wreck. Then weeks in the burn unit!

1)The second time I broke my back. Pain so bad I could not even breath..................
