The first of my 7 kidney stones. Much worse than tearing my knee apart, having an tent pole jabbed through the roof of my mouth, ruptured eardrums, or the car wreck where my head went through the windshield.

Whats the worst physical pain you've ever felt?

My first time with real pain was when I was a kid jumping off the House (yea I know should not ever try to be the center of attention) Me and my friends were jumping off the low side of my parents house and I happen to be the one who lands on something in the yard and breaks my leg, I was 10 years old then.
Second time I felt real pain was when I got hit by a car walking across the parking lot at my son's elementary school, Broke 4 ribs, my left arm, and my collar bone, I was 32 years old.
Had Various other incidents that hurt but those are some of the worst.
Now the worst pain was when I passed 3 Kidney stones and as people have said it will make a grown man quiver on the floor in pain, was 42 then.

I may be screwed together (literally), but you guys are just screwed up! I worked on a trauma ward for a year in the Nav, then went with the Marines. You grew to pity some of the guys who survived, more than the ones who didn't.
The first ACL on my left knee....did it on a dirt bike didn't hurt all that bad at the time, but after the surgery the first day of therapy! I wanted to kill my therapist but she was just doing her job.
The second time I tore my ACL and MCL and damaged the cartlidge (sp) I was carrying a brake drum for a 48' flat bed trailer ~100 pounds and very awkward to carry. I stepped off a curb my knee locked out and bend in the wrong direction to about 45 degrees. That one hurt!

Some of you guys have been through some bad stuff! My worst was a 2 part episode. I was playing volleyball at a family event and landed from a jump fine but my entire right quad tore loose. Part 2 was due to the fact that I went on vacation less than 2 weeks after surgery to repair the quad and formed blood clots the entire length of my leg. Spent a week in the hospital, a year on bloodthinners, and I still have one calf larger than the other.
I fell off my bike, actually I got flung off my bike when my front wheel locked up after coming in contact with my friend's rear wheel. We were racing and I went flying over the handle bars. When I hit the concrete I looked like I slid into home base face first. I had little bits of road in my skin and I had two huge road rashes on my chest. Also, I had my face and hands rashed up pretty good too. That wasn't the painful part... My Dad, god bless him, when I came home and looked like a grenade had gone off next to me, sat me down and instead of washing road rashes decided to spray Solarcane on it to disinfect.... Holy mother of all cuss words that are forbidden on ODT.... thats the only time I have literally screamed in pain... I scared of the **** outta him too.
