What's this gun worth? A friend wants to trade

I've got a gun that a friend wants, maybe for a trade, and I'm not sure how to value it. Can y'all help?
It's a
Savage 11 barreled action, .308
MDT Gen1 chassis with 1 mag
Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 Gen1
Magpul stock (can't remember which) and Magpul bipod

I can post a picture if that would help. This thing is a bit of a frankenstein and all the parts are older generation of things that have new versions out now, so I'm really at a loss for what it's worth. I think I have maybe $1500 in it.

idk how much that gun is worth, but what you can do i search this forum for that same weapon, compare the condition and maybe any upgrades or attachments. that might give you an idea of its value. good luck

Safe bet is just the cost of parts. Custom rifles are hard to price based parts brand / quality, gunsmith who did the work, and what its specialty is.

Pictures would help for sure.

Half of $1,500 is $750 which is still about $250 more than I’d pay for a used Savage.
