Not to say poopdaddy doesn't know whats hes talking about but I've jumped my bike from my MDX multiple times. I have an 08 with 27k miles on it. Twice or three times I have left the bike "On" for about a week. My battery tender wouldn't charge it because the battery was too low to hold the charge. I jumped the bike, left the cables connected to the bike with it running and hooked the tender up to it all at the same time. Left it running like that for 20-30 mins and it worked, I just left it on the tender for a day or so and it held the charge.
No its not carb'd Honda went to FI when they turned the CBR into the 600RR back in 03.
I see. Is it common for a FI bike to take that long to crank? Maybe a fuel check valve?
Constant changes in temperature will suck the life right out of a motorcycle battery. Like poopdaddy said, trickle charge or new battery. NEVER jump off a bike with a car!
Just get a trickle charger. The battery obviously works, its just weak. Even if you do need a new battery you can always use the charger.

With a weak battery. If it was sputtering or the rpms dipping then I would look at fuel but his bike runs smooth.
