In the dark ages, we used to get to KK just as the first batches of glazed came out. Take about a half dozen, roll them up into little balls, pack them in your cheeks like a squirrel and douse with hot coffee... Nirvana for several minutes...

I feel sorry for you guys that think KK has good doughnuts. But I remind myself y'all have probably lived isolated deprived lives and you can't miss what you never had, so that helps.

For a chain place, Shipley's makes KK look like the plastic coated ring of nastiness it is.
