Yes I know that many a shipment of parts to century has been seized by customs too because they were mismanifested. Lost profits right there. Add in the cost of us made barrels etc to make them compliant....

i figure demand is the same to, i dont see folks buying aks in droves, mostly its folks who already own ak47s who are buying more in anticipation cause they wanna make a buck down the road, back when sks were sellin for 650 and cetmes for over a 1000
thats itemizing every little thing, it doesnt explain the increase of price to what it is now. that would claim century is the one upping their prices, and since they exclusively deal with FFL i can tell you that its more likely that the direct vendors are the ones upping the price, and the private sellers (such as ODT) are listing their items in respect to the vendors pricing (which makes sense)

No, you don't have to itemize, you just have to list accuratly and certify that all the parts are importable. 3 40 foot containers full of demilled AKs with INTACT barrels when there is an ATF ruling that they are no longer importable and deliberately mismanifesting it as something else gets them seized - ALL OF IT. Seen it done more than once with century in particular as well as many many other wholesellers in the gun industry.
