so for conversations sake id like some opinions here.

so lets say **** goes bad for whatever reason ( economic collapse,terrorist,et)
and you find yourself in a city or sub-urban area with your choice of the following long guns to escort you and yours to safety. ID REALLY LIKE TO KNOW WHAT THE MAJORITY PREFERENCE IS SO PLEASE COMMENT... obviously its for fun so don't act like a loon!

12 GAUGE SHOTGUN
AR-15
AK-47

in any configuration you want i.e.( sbs,sbr,scout,rifle length etc)

I personally would like a 12 gauge in any "Defensive" format

In a Urban environment, I'm going with the weapon that I feel would be easier to get ammo for and easiest to bring down a target at close and medium range, that's a .12g. Cops, Civilians and even criminals have .12g ammo. So, finding or taking re-loads for your weapon will not be that hard!

Don't shortchange yourself. It's a full 12!

AR bc it is what I have more trigger with, versatility to shoot different rounds. Distance is still a factor in urban areas as well.
True. That's the biggest shortcoming with my 9mm carbine. I have 100 yards of 6moa accuracy. Hopefully that's enough.

@Nurm thats definitely pushing it
I had the Scorpion SBR at the 100 yard range last weekend and managed to get all 30 rounds from the mag well into an 8" target at 100..close to 6moa actually. The sight was an eotech XPS2-2, and the hold was exactly in the middle of the two dots for a 100 yard zero. I was pleasantly surprised at the accuracy. I'm confident in man sized target hits at 150.
