lol mine will do this sometimes as well.... Right out of the kennel works best for me....

The heeling stick is a great tool but a lot of people and trainers abuse it in my opinion...

The heeling stick has worked ok for me so far. I try to keep training fun. If my dog is not enjoying it, I quit and switch it up to something more enjoyable for me and the dog.

The thing I dont like about the heeling stick is most of his eye contact is now with the stick instead of me. I want his eyes on my at all times when I tell him heel, to watch me for any turns or stops. I think I am having trouble with positive reinforcement. I can only correct him, not reward him. Times like this are when I wish I would have used a clicker.
