It's been a LONG TIME since any gun laws, either pro-gun, anti-gun, were passed and became law in Georgia, right?
The last ones I can think of were passed in 2017 and took effect two years ago.
House Bill 292-- which made several changes, such as giving new residents to GA a 90 day grace period to carry on their old state's license before they have to have a GWL to carry here, and increasing the blade length of a "weapon" from 5" to 12" before a carry permit is needed for that. That's a 2017 law, and the most recent one I can think of.
House Bill 280, the very limited "campus carry" bill, also took effect in July of 2017.
Does anybody know of anything more recent? Anything in 2018 or 2019?
