I looked hard at the Yugo M53 and considered putting one together.


That is, until I went by Dixie Ammo Dump and picked up his MG42- way heavier that I expected. It's like picking up a boat anchor.

I went with an HK11 instead.

I fought the idea as long as I could. I finally caved and snagged an HK MG3 . I’m pleased with my decision. It had to be that right one. I did not want 8mm Mauser . Had to be 7.62 nato . Surprisingly parts are dirt cheap even though the guns are not

I have a relative that has multiple BATF licenses (C&R, explosives, FFL, Class 3, Manufacturer ect.) He has 2 MG42 parts kits hanging on the wall. He said we he gets around to it he will get them built. I can't wait.

Man get it done. You take a semi auto MG-42 Then you let it penetrate a lafette tripod.... now you got a bump fire device that you operate just like a basketball.
