Where can I find a firing pin and firing pin spring for a shield 9mm

Smith will not send you parts like that unless you are one of their certified armourer. You will have to send the pistol into them or a warranty center.

Worth a try. Go to the S&W website and use the chat feature. They sent me a complete recoil spring and rod assembly after some idjit screwed mine up.

What is wrong with the ones you have now?

Was my uncles gun. He dropped it in deer blood and never detail stripped it. When I stripped it the firing pin was pretty rusty (probably still functional but the rough texture might wear out the spring) and the spring broke into two pieces when I was cleaning it

Tell/call S&W customer service first and see what they will charge you parts. All they could do is say no, give you the parts or charge you a typically very reasonable price for parts.
