Where do they stock trout in stamp creek??

saw they just stocked it an trying to get a buddy his first trout.

I’ve always heard the pool by the Pine log check in station. always see trout there but have never fished for them.

If the gate is open, drive up to where the road crosses the creek and fish that pool. Before you go up the hill to where it crosses, on the left, look for the duck boxes and a small parking area. Park there and walk downstream. I like starting from the road and walking up the creek. Lots of good places to fish.

That area is heavily stocked, you won’t have trouble getting him a trout.

That was pine log wma, just the two of us went back today and caught another limit. 75% were stocked size but we caught 2 that went 14”. Looks like the numbers dwindled quickly I’m amazed at the fishing pressure there.

There are guys that live around there that catch their limit 2-3 times a day.
