Before posting your ad. do you check GB, TrueGunValues.com, old ODT ads., etc. etc. to get a feel for a fair price. Or do you just wing it with a high price and then rely on offers or haggling to get real. Inquiring minds want to know :eyebrows:. Thanks.

check here, ARF, closed/sold gunbroker adds, not just bids.

Then I check GunDeals.com for the lowest new price I can find. I figure used but looks new popular stuff is ~10% below new currently, less popular stuff ~25%. Beat to **** or stupid things 50%.

antiques are harder. Like I'm considering selling a tavor. I could move it 5 minutes for 1k, probably quick at 1500, slower at 1700, never at 2k. Easy. but an 1897 french revolver? **** I've seen them sold between $140 and $7,000 with similar looking conditions.

just look at the price you know its too damn high then. a 300 Taurus for 600 C'mon Man? be reel. A new gun you can purchase for less than 400 advertised for 600 naw that aint happening, just laugh put em on ignore and move along
