As much as I hate those parasites this is wrong. Violence, false arrest, kidnapping...because of what someone says? They have a first amendment right the same as all of you. You can't start picking and choosing who gets to say what.
I gotta disagree with this. What if it was child laying under that flag and these nutjobs were protesting his death? They should be exiled from this country for treason. Its one thing to not support the war, its another thing to not support your fellow americans who are fighting for you freedom.

as much as I would like to see masked men roll up in a windowless panel van wielding katana's and decapitating all of the westboro members... I agree with unclear. If citizens want to take the risk of false imprisonment, battery, etc... more power to em cause God knows these westboro folks are evil.
However, when the police abuse their power to facilitate this... that is where I draw the line.

Sorry, but free speech doesn't have a zone. They aren't doing anything illegal, they aren't physically harming anyone. They also protest at abortion clinics, and at the graves of ordinary people they consider "***s"...I suppose that is ok though?
If our federal govt actually gave a sheet, I think they could charge them on obstruction and maybe a number of other things cause after all, the fallen warrior is govt property.....of course this would be after the near death beating like these tool's received.
Now if it were up to me, they'd be handcuffed, gagged, removed quietly from the scene, and brought to the nearest pond/stream for a good 'ol fashioned, permenant baptising.
