Where to eat at in Clearwater Beach

Last year I came on here and got some great suggestions for spots to eat at in Panama City Beach now I'll be in Clearwater staying on Mandalay Bay Ave? I need some good suggestions for restaurants. A good burger spot and a seafood spot as well as Breakfast would be nice.

Great Burgers can be found at the Sand Dollar cafe in Dunedin (roadside burger and beer shack just outside Honeymoon Island) just north of Clearwater. Grouper Sandwiches from Frenchy's Clearwater....any of the 4 Frenchy's but the one off the beach by the traffic circle (Frenchy's Saltwater Cafe) is the best.

Thanks. I've been coming across Frenchys and could tell its a chain so I wasn't sure how good it was.

frenchy's by the beach has the best grouper nuggets you will ever eat!

I enjoyed Cooters Restaurant its close to the beach and I think they do daily specials.

Went to Cooters it was REALLY good. They have some excellent buffalo wings.

Also went to Frenchys Saltwater Cafe. We went the next day after Cooters so I didn't get the grouper because I got it at Cooters. Frenchys fries were better than Cooters and the buffalo chicken tenders were good. Burger wasn't all that great. I should have gotten Grouper again.

Also went to JaQx pizza on Mandalay for lunch. It was OK but the pizza sucks. I got a cheesesteak and my daughter got a hotdog, they were decent.

I look into that but the wife didn't really want to drive too far and I couldn't tell what restaurant to go to. Spongedocks.net seems to be a general website for a bunch of businesses?

Look up The Columbia. I believe there is one in Clearwater Beach. It could be a little pricey but is worth very penny in my opinion.

Tarpon is not all that far really. If you do go, go to Hellas....it's Hella-Good, seriously.
