Where's my deer guru's at?!

Crunchy Taco's work also!
I took my daughter to the stand years ago and I always brought snacks. Well this one morning I grabbed pretzels. It was about 8:15 and told her it's time to put up the snack because it was crunching and she kept reaching in the bag making all kind of noise and the deer would be through soon. Well she agrees and hands my the pretzels and I put them up. Well a minute or so later she is sitting there with dry mouth from all the pretzels she says daddy I'm thirsty. Well I lean down to grab her drink and I hear that dreadful sound no hunter wants to hear. A deer blowing from about 10 yards behind me, we both about came out of our skin. I look back to see a deer that was just about to walk by us running away. After that we don't bring pretzels or anything crunchy to the stand, it's our rule! :D Here's a picture from the pretzel day.

I can't find a barfing emoji so.. **BARFFFF**

Lmao! Back in the day that was one of the few portable snacks which were easy to take with us. I now look back thinking how could I eat that gross crap, but we were about three sheets in the wind, so probably couldn't even taiste it! Paid for it the next few days.

Yep, pretty much anything you do to NOT be ready to shoot usually brings them out. :)
If you need corn (or peanut butter or anything else illegal in the northern zone) to shoot deer, you're not doing it right, at all.

It's windy and the moon was real bright. They are moving a little slower today but saw some serious chasing in the backyard this morning.
Going to be low 30s in spots in the morning....
