Where's my deer guru's at?!

Yep, pretty much anything you do to NOT be ready to shoot usually brings them out.
If you need corn (or peanut butter or anything else illegal in the northern zone) to shoot deer, you're not doing it right, at all.

It's windy and the moon was real bright. They are moving a little slower today but saw some serious chasing in the backyard this morning.
Going to be low 30s in spots in the morning....

I just need SOMETHING to bring them to me!! This wind is ridiculous! Hoping this afternoon and tomorrow morning is better!!

I have a lucky shirt my mom gave me.Every big deer I have killed I have had it on and a whole bunch of smaller ones.Use to have a lucky knife but it stays in the drawer now.Good luck and more time you spend in the tree the less time there is to wait for a deer.

I really need to horseshoe out of my dads butt!!! I really wish I could make more time for this!! Work, college, & a 4 year old are higher priorities... I just go when I have time to squeeze it in!!

How are you using it? Is it on a saturated wick?
Today is obviously REAL windy and with as dry as it is, it's tough for scents.

I hung it on a small branch. It's in the lil orange and black container/bottle. I forget the name on it....

Tink's make a spray can 69 now. I been using that, spray some on a little toilet paper in tree branch . Sounds stupid but it works for me

Put it out a few different places in front of your stand hopefully with the wind blowing into thick cover. Maybe put some out at 50 yards and some more out at 100 yards. It will help cover more ground. Wear rubber boots as well so if a deer comes in with it's nose to the ground it doesn't smell you and take off.
