We always as a family like to go to one gun show a year, I know a lot of you will comment don't go, I hate gun show...etc, but my son loves them so we go to one around New Years every year. I've never been a big fan but have got a decent deal at everyone we've went to. My problem is I'm trying to decide on which one we will go to, either the Gun Runners show in ATL this coming weekend or the R&K show in Knoxville...you guys have any advice which one would be a better show????

i wouldnt go to any honestly

way to expensive, a waste of money, and every vendor pretty much treated me like i had the word **** written on my forhead (gonna tell me that they cant come down on the price cause they would lose money somehow, like their dealer cost has gone up at all in the past 4 years, lol)

THat's what I was affraid I would hear, was hoping there would still be a few people selling at normal prices, guess not.

Depends on what you are looking for. Anything other than ARs and you just need to look around. I find more of my stuff on the isle side of the tables. Not on the dealer side.

If you are a Georgia resident and you are looking to buy it will be a lot less hassle to attend the one here instead of in Knoxville.

I was mainly looking for a few decent priced 10/22's to start another project gun for both my son and one for myself so that's why I wasn't worried about which state, also Knoxville or Atlanta are about the same drive for us.

If your only reason to go to a gun show is to buy retail you will probably be disapointed. There are exceptions of course. I go to talk to all the people that gather at a gun show. Most have a particular area of intrest. Unless you just need to go this weekend I suggest saving your nickels and go the the Jonesboro Road show on the south side of Atlanta. (near Farmers Mkt) It is the largest in Georgia and maybe the Southeast. Have a Happy New Year!!!
