Which mini grass-eating animal should I get?

Trying to decide on a GRASS-EATING dwarf animal that won't hurt small children.

I don't want a goat because they damage trees.

Horses kick and bite.

Sheep make noise and eat the roots of the grass.

Any other ideas?

It's not the goats that are the problem, it's the peaceful people sneaking up on them through the long grass.

Goats will strip the bark off any thin-barked tree, such as fruit trees, etc. I've seen one put it's front legs on another's back, to reach higher up. Killed a bunch of apple trees. You have to install fence guards around the trees.
