Which powder do you like best

Sweet, I picked up a 5lb container of Blue Dot, I have never tried it but loaded up about 50 rounds to test it out. This stuff is pretty nice. Clean burn when shooting and not a real messy clean up afterwards either. I will atleast use up this 5lb container anyways. Also have some Accurate #5 I will be trying as well. Ill let you know how it works out. Maybe we should have a sticky for powders and how well they work or do not work.

I've loaded the 45acp jacketed bullets using Accurate #5 for years. It works well at moderate velocties. It meters well, burns very clean, and it pushes 200g and 230g XTPs' very accurately. I believe you'll like it.

I've had a real hard time beating Varget in my 22-250 or my 30-06, but my 270 prefers IMR-4350. I'm going to try Varget in my son's 243 if I can ever find a decent scope. Win 296 and H110 are mainstays in my big bore hunting handguns; 47 grains of H110 or Win 296 behind a 200 grain Barnes XPB really screams in my 460, I chronyed it at 2350 FPS. RL-22 has been okay in the 30-06, but hasn't compared to Varget.

Those are the three powders I use. Only other I've tried is Varget and it sucked compared with RL-15 and IMR-4895.

38+P - HS-6
357 - 2400

Started out as a Bullseye guy...but that stuff is FILTHY compared to Accurate #2. The HS-6 is fun stuff, but really requires a magnum primer and higher-end charge weight to burn cleanly & completely.

I've tried a few other powders but these, are my Mains. I had a couple guys tell me about Titegroup, and I really like it so far.

For cost reasons and simplicity, I try to stick with a couple of powders, then play around with the bullet selection.

Unique- handgun, shotgun, subsonic rifle
H4895- rifle

Really hate having 1 lb cans of this and 1 lb cans of that. I can purchase bulk 4895 and load it into most everything.
