Who all is going to the Perry Gun Show Nov 12th & 13th?

I had a great time but some guys got so mad about waiting (I had too many people trying to buy stuff) they just stormed off. I was by myself, no help, doing the best I could.
I stopped and was gonna shake your hand and say hello but you were in the middle of business! Looked busy!

That High Standard you had on the back of the table near you sure was PURTY!

The 102 space gun or the Victor? The 102 sold. I tried to say hello to everyone I recognized, but you're right. I was busier than a one armed paper hanger from open to close. I didn't even get to the men's room all day.

Not sure, I'm not up to speed on High Standard models...this one looked like it had a weighted front? Some kind of competition model?
That's the Model 102 Supermatic Citation. It was a very nice example, much nicer than the 102 I shoot in competition. I was happy to see it and the Model 29-2 go to a club member and super nice fellow.

How much are the newly imported primers selling for? Glad you had a good day
I want to say that his name is Val Skala, he and his wife own a remanufacturing business here in Macon (ammunition) and he had new small pistol primers for $80 or $90 per thousand. Small rifle primers (CCI) were maybe $90 per thousand? I'll check in the a.m. and update this post. I never got to walk the show to see what the other vendors brought.

I must have the only Large Rifle Magnum primers in the show as several boxes went at $280 per thousand. Two boxes left.

Thanks! That's what I had. One of the best shows I've ever set up at. I only set up at maybe, maybe one every two to three years. I sold more than 35,000 primers today. Val set up next to me was selling newly imported European primers for $20 - $50 less per K than I had mine, and I kept directing folks to his tables for better prices, but damn! They just didn't care, kept buying the CCI and Winchesters from me. He sold a LOT of ammo though. I had none on offer but the 45 Match ammo I have listed here.

The dealer next to me sold OUT. They left and I have his table too tomorrow. I don't know what in the hell was in the air but folks were spending like crazy. Maybe fears post election night, who knows. I won't look a gift horse in the mouth.

I had a great time but some guys got so mad about waiting (I had too many people trying to buy stuff) they just stormed off. I was by myself, no help, doing the best I could. I did have a lot of club members come by the tables and buy/hang out for a while. The car show and the AG show must have brought in WAY more people than the promoters expected.

I even saw a rarest of the rare American 180 .22LR drum fed rifle (semi auto) that the fellows behind be wound up buying. The seller (floor walker) had two drums, a wire stock, a forward Thompson style grip extra, paperwork and a 9' pistol barrel for it. I should have paid him immediately but have no need of such a thing. It was cool though, never having seen one "in the wild." Some interesting stuff walks in the Perry show. If you haven't been, you should give it a go.
Congrats on your show

I may try to get a couple of tables so I can spend my weekend listening to goat breathed neckbeards tell me how much they "coulda bought my shyte for in 1993."

Anyone else for good times?
And wouldn't you know? Not one person loudly proclaimed what "they coulda bough it fer" 30 years ago. Not for anything I had on the tables. I was kind of disappointed.

I did get to meet Torn Torn and Rusty Shakleford Rusty Shakleford in person, so that was cool.
